Join Ireland’s only award-winning baby & toddler swim school in located at Gulliver’s Retail Park in SANTRY and at the Beacon South Quarter in SANDYFORD. Booking is now open.

We run swim term classes for children from 10 weeks to 3 years old, 7 days a week in our own onsite swimming pool, kept at a balmy 33°C. This is the perfect place for parents to further develop the bond with their baby in the water whilst teaching them a life skill at the same time.

The new 10 week swim term starts week commencing Monday 01 June, 2026.

Our gentle and engaging Little Dipper baby swim classes, for ages 10 weeks to 22 months, are grounded in scientific research.

Each lesson incorporates sensory play, touch, positive interaction, and fun to support your baby’s development and strengthen the unique bond you share.

It’s a space where you can slow down, connect, and enjoy meaningful moments with your little one whilst simultaneously teaching them basic water safety skills.

Central to the First Swim experience is our private pool, which is heated to a soothing 33°C.

This carefully controlled temperature helps babies and toddlers feel relaxed and secure in the water, supporting both their physical comfort and confidence.

Unlike many public swimming environments, First Swim maintains a calm and focused atmosphere by hosting only one class in the pool at a time.

This allows for a more personalized experience, where each child can receive individual attention and parents can feel at ease without the distractions or noise of multiple groups sharing the space.

Our planned opening date of 11th of May for First Swim Santry has been pushed out to the week commencing 1st of June.

For everyone who has already booked online with us, please check your email for this update.

Delays are frustrating but anyone who has been swimming with us before will know our super high standards when it comes to customer satisfaction.

We wouldn't risk that with a fast-tracked opening. This little extra wait will be well worth it, delivering Ireland's SECOND EVER baby & toddler swim school after our Sandyford school.
